Refurbishments of away-from-bed spaces transform the hospital experience. Bright artwork, cosy furniture, and inviting decor make spaces feel less clinical, offering respite and distraction for patients and their families.

Therapeutic & Supportive Programs

Therapeutic programs ensure patients' healing is holistic - taking into consideration mental and emotional wellbeing as a crucial aspect of the journey. The range of different programs offer outlets for relaxation, stimulation, creativity and companionship.

Almost every person, at some point in their life, needs public health care. Canberra Hospitals Foundation supports patients at any age, for any illness, from babies, children, teens to adults and the elderly, from those having treatment for cancer or chronic illness, to those recovering from injury, the vulnerable amongst us, and those people nearing end of life.

We are raising funds for specialised equipment and important research, refurbishments to help make away from bed spaces less clinical, provision of therapeutic programs, and comfort items for our patients and their loved ones. Your support helps people in Canberra and the surrounding region.
